Träffpunkt Stadsskogen

Assemblin has completed a general contract at the new Träffpunkt school in Stadsskogen, Alingsås, western Sweden.

It included the installation of power and lighting, an extensive security component and solutions for fire and burglar alarms, including a spoken-voice evacuation alarm. Assemblin also installed an access control system, telecom solutions and a data network.

The school is part of Alingsås Municipality’s major focus on the environment. The school is being built with passive house technology. To make it a zero energy building, the school has been fitted with a large solar panel system on the roof.

Throughout the project the emphasis has been on the local environment; it has been important to integrate the school naturally into its surroundings.
