Assemblin in Norway is expanding in ventilation technology by means of acquisitions
Assemblin in Norway has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of ventilation company Drammen Ventilasjon AS (“Drammen Ventilasjon”) with annual sales of approximately NOK 7 million and eight employees.
Drammen Ventilasjon, which was launched about 25 years ago, conducts ventilation operations in the Drammen area, mainly through installation assignments. The acquisition strengthens Assemblin’s ventilation platform, making Assemblin largest local ventilation player in Drammen.
“Traditionally, a large proportion of subcontracted ventilation installers are used in the Norwegian market. We view using our own employees to a greater extent as an advantage and are therefore very pleased with this acquisition. This increases our installation capacity and gives us greater control of our assignments,” says Torkil Skancke Hansen, President and Business Area Manager for Assemblin Norway.
Drammen Ventilasjon is currently managed by its principal shareholder, Magne-Vegar Gulbrandsen.
