How we work with social responsibility
As a large employer with a high proportion of inhouse capacity, partly working in dangerous environments, the Group has a significant impact on its own employees' working conditions, equal treatment, privacy protection, health and safety.
The Group strives to offer a safe, equal and inclusive workplace to ensure employee well-being and engagement.
With a large proportion of purchases of materials and services in combination with long and broad value chains, the Group continuously develops responsible procurment methods to reduce the risk of serious impacts on human rights also for employees in the value chain.
Own employees (S1)
The significant impact, risk and opportunity that the Group has linked to its own employees primarily concerns four sub-areas: (i) working conditions, (ii) health and safety, (iii) equal treatment and opportunities for all and (iv) other work-related rights. These areas are described in general terms below.
The Group currently only has internal goals related to its own employees. For more detailed information about the Group's governance, strategy, measures and monitoring of key figures in these areas, see the Group's sustainability report.
Working conditions
Measures that promote working conditions, such as collective agreements, can have a positive impact, while understaffing, poor work planning and/or other inadequate working conditions can have a potential negative impact. Work scheduling, working hours and salary levels are also perceived indirectly as both a financial opportunity and risk.
Health and Safety
The Group's employees work in some risky work environments and with risky work elements, which has an actual negative impact. Inadequate measures to ensure health and safety can have a potential negative impact and potentially indirectly be a financial risk.

Equal treatment and opportunities for all
The Group's ability to promote diversity is a potential positive impact. Unequal treatment, compensation and recruitment or lack of implementation of anti-harassment policies may have a potential negative impact.
More information about Assemblin's work with equality and inclusion can be found here.
Other work-related rights
Violation of employee privacy and lack of data protection have a potential negative impact on confidentiality and employees' right to privacy.
Employees in the value chain (S2)
The significant impact, risk and opportunity that the Group has linked to employees in the value chain primarily concerns four sub-areas: (i) working conditions, (ii) health and safety, (iii) equal treatment and opportunities for all and (iv) other work-related rights. These areas are described in general terms below.
The Group currently only has internal goals related to employees in the value chain. For more detailed information about the Group's governance, strategy, measures and monitoring of key figures in these areas, see the Group's sustainability report.
Working conditions
Deficiencies in working conditions for employees in the value chain have a potential negative impact, while the Group's risk assessment of suppliers, clear requirements and supplier follow-up can have a positive impact. Failure to identify and manage human rights risks for subcontractors/suppliers can be a financial risk.
Health and Safety
The Group's safety requirements and subcontractors' training in work environment-related issues have a potentially positive impact. However, inadequate health and safety measures can lead to negative impacts. The Group's employees work in some risky work environments and with risky work elements, which has an actual negative impact.
Equal treatment and opportunities for all
Unequal practices regarding treatment, competence and recruitment of supplier employees can have a negative impact.
Other work-related rights
A very limited portion of materials that the Group installs contain raw materials associated with human rights issues, which has an actual negative impact.
