The Swedish district heating network is an important factor in Sweden’s energy policy and its transition to fossil fuel-free heating. It is a cost-effective method of distributing environmentally friendly energy that can be used in many ways and in an increasing number of buildings going forward. District heating is a growing market for Assemblin, which is now strengthening its market position in the Mälardalen region.

“The district heating market is very exciting with potential for growth. We are greatly impressed by the knowledge and experience gathered in Mälardalens Fjärrvärme Entreprenad AB, and we consider it to be an excellent addition to the platform we created in the Mälardalen region as a result of the acquisition of Industri- och Värmemontage Werme AB (IVM) in 2019,” says Andreas Aristiadis, President and Business Area Manager of Assemblin VS.

Mälardalens Fjärrvärme Entreprenad AB has cutting-edge expertise in district heating and culvert work. One of its foremost customers is Mälarenergi.
