Mats Jönsson new Chairman of Assemblin’s Board of Directors
In connection with the regular Annual General Meeting, Mats Jönsson, previously a Board Member at Assemblin, has been elected as the new Chairman of the Board. Mats Jönsson succeeds Fredrik Wirdenius, who has declined re-election and is stepping down from Assemblin’s Board of Directors.
Mats Jönsson (1957) is a graduate engineer from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and was elected to Assemblin’s Board of Directors in 2017. Mats has previously worked as the President and CEO of Coor Service Management and, prior to that, held several leading positions within Skanska. Alongside his Board assignment at Assemblin, Mats is also the Chairman of the Boards of Bonava AB (publ), Plaed Top Holding AB (part of the Lekolar group) and Tengbomgruppen Holding AB, as well as a Board Member at NCC AB (publ).

The Annual General Meeting re-elected the other members of the Board, which now also includes owner representatives Hans Petter Hjellestad and Anders Thulin, as well as independent members Susanne Ekblom and Per-Ingemar Persson.
