Assemblin wins a multi-technical installation assignment in a new R&D facility in Lund
Assemblin has been contracted by Skanska to design and install electrical, heating, water, cooling and gas technology in a new R&D facility in Lund (the Höjdpunkten 5 property). The value of the installation assignment is estimated at SEK 85 million.
On behalf of property company Vectura, Skanska is to build a new facility of approximately 24,000 m2 with offices, a laboratory and a test environment. Groundwork has begun and the buildings are scheduled for completion late 2025.
Skanska has contracted Assemblin to assume responsibility for the electrical and heating & sanitation technology at the facility, including the design and installation of electrical, power and lighting systems, as well as heating, water, cooling and gas systems. The planning is scheduled to be completed in April 2024, after which the installation work will commence. The total order value is estimated to SEK 85 million.
