Assemblin divests subsidiary Totalplåt
Assemblin Ventilation divests Totalplåt i Sverige AB (“Totalplåt”) with 26 employees and annual sales of SEK 45 million to Areco.
Totalplåt operates two workshops in Malmö and Linköping, which manufacture rectangular ventilation ducts. Its customers include several installation companies in the southern and central Sweden, of which Assemblin Ventilation is the largest. Although Totalplåt has enjoyed positive development and a good reputation in the market, to streamline its operations, Assemblin Ventilation has decided to divest these workshops. The buyer is Areco, one of the Nordic region's leading sheet metal manufacturers.
“Although, Totalplåt has stable operations and enjoys a good reputation in the market, we have chosen to sell our workshops to focus fully on our installation and service activities. We are very happy that Totalplåt can continue its journey together with Areco. I am convinced that this will be a favourable solution that benefits Totalplåt as well as its employees and us as one of its customers,” says Håkan Ekvall, President and Business Area Manager, Assemblin Ventilation.
