Assemblin strengthens BMS expertise with acquisition of Jonicom

Assemblin is reinforcing its leading position in building management system through the acquisition of Jonicom i Kungsbacka AB ("Jonicom") with annual sales of approximately SEK 40 million and 25 employees.

Jonicom offers complete solutions in building management system (“BMS”) with a focus on energy optimisation, design, contracting and service/maintenance. The company was founded in Kungsbacka in 2007 and is today one of the larger automation companies on the Swedish west coast with a good reputation. Customers include property owners, construction companies and installation companies.

"Jonicom is a skilled and dynamic automation company that complements our existing BMS operations geographically and in terms of customers. They are strongly focused on customers and quality, which is in line with our priorities. We are very happy to be able to welcome our new colleagues and customers to the Assemblin family," says Stefan Amnehagen, Region Manager Automation at Assemblin Electrical.

Today, Jonicom is predominantly owned by Joakim Källmark, who serves as the CEO of the company.

“In Assemblin's initiative in solutions for intelligent building this means that we gain an owner with a passion for technology and innovation like our own. I am convinced that this is entirely right for Jonicom's employees and customers and look forward to continuing to develop our business alongside Assemblin," says Joakim Källmark, CEO of Jonicom.
