Assemblin in Norway in new heating and sanitation assignment for major project in Sandvika
Assemblin in Norway has signed an agreement with Skanska for the installation of heating and sanitation in the new Helgerudkvarteret block in Sandvika, outside Oslo.
Helgerudkvarteret represents the first stage of a major urban development project in central Sandvika. The project will result in a combined-use building, including both commercial premises and housing. The entire basement and half of the project have now been contracted. Assemblin’s contract includes 238 apartments, offices and commercial premises, parking levels and technical buildings, with a total of 58,000 m2 of floor area. The order is included in the order intake for the fourth quarter of 2021.
The project has been developed by Andenæs Eiendom, which owns several buildings in Sandvika. The company has been working on the development of this project since the early 2000s.

We have spent a year participating in the design process alongside Skanska and Andenæs Eiendom. We now look forward to commencing the production phase, probably just after the 2022 summer vacation period,” says Leif Stensrud, Regional Manager at Assemblin.
The lower five floors in Helgerudkvarteret will be commercial premises, with shops and restaurants at street level. The homes will be situated in six independent residential buildings above the rooftops of the commercial premises. The residential buildings will range from six to ten storeys in height. The project, which will be completed in 2025, will be environmentally certified in accordance with the BREEAM NOR Excellent standard.
