Assemblin acquires MIS Värme & Kyla AB
Assemblin is following up its initiative in refrigeration technology by acquiring MIS Värme & Kyla AB (“MIS”), with operations in Jönköping and the surrounding area and annual sales of about SEK 5 million.
Having launched an initiative in refrigeration technology earlier this year, Assemblin obtains, through this acquisition, a key component for its refrigeration initiative in the Jönköping region. Established in 2017, MIS offers installation and service of cooling systems, mainly for industrial and retail facilities, as well as heat pumps. The cooling operations will become a separate unit in Assemblin’s existing ventilation business in Jönköping.
“Climate change is driving the demand for qualified, environmentally efficient cooling solutions. With its good reputation in the market MIS, favourably complements our existing service operations in Jönköping. We have previous positive experience of our ventilation services collaborating with their cooling services, thereby generating business for one another. Combined, we will be able to strengthen our shared offering in cooling, being able, for example, to implement energy enhancement measures for cooling and heat pump installations by assuming an overarching responsibility,” says Håkan Ekvall, President and Business Area Manager, Assemblin Ventilation.
