Assemblin acquires Finnish electrical contractor Eltex Sähkö ja Automaatio Oy

Assemblin in Finland has acquired all of the shares in Eltex Sähkö ja Automaatio Oy (“Eltex”) with 25 employees and annual sales of approximately EUR 2 million. The acquisition further strengthens Assemblin’s electrical and automation expertise in Finland.

Founded in 2005, Eltex is a company that specialises in electrical work for automation projects and has offices in Helsinki. The company began as a regular company of electricians but has now switched focus to working almost exclusively with automation projects. Eltex works for Finland’s leading system suppliers and has been involved in a number of major construction projects in Finland.

Eltex also performs maintenance and installation of gas monitoring equipment, installation of electrical systems and manufactures high-quality automation and control centres. The company’s principal customers are players in the construction and installation industry.

“Eltex is a highly professional and reputable company with operations that complement ours. With this acquisition, we strengthen our automation and electrical expertise, which broadens our offering and enables us to offer even better service to our existing customers,” says Jukka Jäppinen, Operations Manager at Assemblin Oy.

Eltex is characterised by a strong focus on customers and employees.

“We always strive to deliver high quality. Although we are proud of the operations we have built up, we believe that with Assemblin as our owner we can develop further and offer our employees additional development and career opportunities,” says Ville Leikas, President of Eltex Sähkö ja Automaatio Oy.
