Summarized Annual Review 2019

With a growth of 12.3 per cent and an order intake of SEK 11.3 billion, improved adjusted EBITA of 28.9 per cent and a strong cash flow we have come to an end of a successful and exciting year.

Regulatory press release

“In 2019, Assemblin continued to capture market shares and we now have sales of SEK 10 billion while our order backlog is at a record-high level. We are very proud of this, of course, but currently our major focus is on continuing to strengthen profitability. Our margin increased from 4.5 to 5.2 per cent, which is excellent, but during the autumn we took several actions in order to further strengthening our competitiveness and profitability. Our objective is crystal clear: Assemblin is to be the best installation company for our customers, our employees and our owners,” commented Mats Johansson, President and CEO of Assemblin.

The year in brief

  • Net sales for the full year increased 12.3 per cent to SEK 9,978 million (8,885), of which 8.3 per cent was organic.
  • Adjusted EBITA increased 28.9 per cent totalling SEK 516 million (401). Adjusted EBITA margin increased to 5.2 per cent (4.5).
  • Order intake increased to SEK 11,258 million (9,459), including the large ventilation order from the Stockholm Bypass Project totalling SEK 520 million and the multi-tech installation assignment in Malmö’s hospital campus totalling SEK 867 million. Order backlog at the end of the period increased to SEK 8,478 million (6,971).
