Assemblin’s deputy CEO retires

After more than 40 years at Assemblin, deputy CEO Lennart Petersson is retiring.

Lennart Petersson began his career as a fitter in 1976. He has held many senior positions within the current Assemblin group, particularly within NVS and later Assemblin VS. In more recent years he has also served the group company as acting President and deputy CEO. Lennart is now retiring and so leaves the executive management team at Assemblin. The role of deputy CEO will be discontinued.

“I want to thank Lennart for his work, loyalty and great commitment. His extensive experience and expertise have been extremely valuable to the company and its development, and I am one of many people who will miss him and his wisdom,” says Mats Johansson, President and CEO of Assemblin.

“It is with mixed feelings that I leave the company. I have had the privilege of going on a fantastic journey, both in terms of my own personal development and in terms of the companies that today make up one of the Nordic region’s leading installation and service companies. But what I will remember, and miss, above all is all the skilled, innovative and wonderful colleagues that I have come to know over all these years. I know that Assemblin is in safe hands and can look to the future with confidence,” says Lennart.
