Assemblin adopts a new Sustainability Policy

To clarify its ambitions in the field of sustainability, Assemblin has adopted a new Sustainability Policy.

Assemblin intends to be the best installation company in the Nordic region. Our fundamental objective is to be a responsible player that adds value not only to all our priority stakeholders, but also to society as a whole. To clarify our ambitions in the field of sustainability, Assemblin has adopted a new Sustainability Policy that will serve as a broad umbrella for the field of sustainability.

“Our vision is to create smart and sustainable installation solutions – by people, for people. Our Sustainability Policy is intended to clarify the sustainability dimension of our vision. The goal is that, by being an attractive employer and supplier, we will deliver profitable growth with controlled risks and minimal negative impact on the environment and society,” says Mats Johansson, President and CEO of Assemblin.

Assemblin’s Sustainability Policy contains principled positions on the thirteen sustainability topics that are most material from the perspective of the company’s operations. The policy also indicates the international standards and agreements Assemblin has chosen to support: the UN Global Compact, the Paris Agreement and Agenda 2030.

“Our Sustainability Policy was drafted by the Group’s Sustainability Committee, and then approved by both Group Management and the Board of Directors. Alongside our values and Code of Conduct, the Sustainability Policy is the most important governance tool for our sustainability activities, setting the minimum level for all operations,” says Åsvor Brynnel, Head of Communications and Sustainability at Assemblin.

The Sustainability Policy has been published on Assemblin’s website.
