Assemblin expands north of Oslo through acquisitions
Assemblin establishes itself north of Oslo through the acquisition of three heating and sanitation companies.
Assemblin in Norway has acquired three companies with operations in the field of heating and sanitation, with a total of over 110 employees and an expected yearly turnover of 260 MSEK.
The three companies are Arve Hagen AS, Ramsøy AS and Gjøvik Varme and Sanitær AS, with operations in Brumunddal, Lillehammer and Gjøvik.
Expands north
The acquisition was made through a purchase of all shares in Hagen Holding AS, which now changes its name to Assemblin Innlandet AS.
“We have a strong market position in Oslo and south of Oslo but have long wanted to expand north. This acquisition is in line with the strategy, since we can now take a leading position in the region north of Oslo. The company has shown good results and we expect this will continue in the future”, says Torkil Skancke Hansen, business area manager and CEO of Assemblin AS.
A good match
The acquisition will formally take place in November 2019, provided that the Norwegian Competition Authority approves the deal.
