In a partnering contract with NCC, Assemblin has been commissioned to install air treatment systems in the refurbishment of the existing office and the new construction of offices and a production hall at ABB in Ludvika, central Sweden.

The project relates to some 20,000 square metres in all, and is a total contract including options worth in the region of SEK 25 million for Assemblin.

The buildings are certified to LEED standards and aim to achieve Gold level. LEED is an international environmental classification system, and a systematic way of working with environmental issues in projects. The classification refers to materials, energy use, indoor climate and other factors. Due to the extremely short production time, Assemblin in Dalarna province and Västerås decided to work on this contract using the joint resources of both offices.
