Assemblin secures an additional assignment for NKT
Assemblin El has signed an additional agreement with NKT in Karlskrona, where all of Assemblin's Swedish business areas are already involved in the construction of NKT's third extrusion tower.
The new assignment in the third tower concerns electrical installations in new production halls for finishing and armoring the cables produced at the facility. The project extends until 2027. All the Assemblin Swedish business areas were also involved in the construction of NKT's second tower, which was completed in 2022.

NKT's facility in Karlskrona manufactures both sea- and land-laid high-voltage cables, a special high-voltage cable that is laid on the seabed to, for example, connect offshore wind farms. The facility will be the world's largest factory for high-voltage submarine cables, contributing to developing the distribution of renewable energy sources and increasing the technological development in Blekinge and the rest of Sweden.
