Brinkåsen Department of Psychiatry

The security system for the Brinkåsen Department of Forensic Psychiatry includes both systems for the building’s security and systems for the forensic psychiatry operation.

Assemblin has designed and planned an integrated security concept which includes fire and burglar alarms, CCTV, access control, door telephony and portable attack alarms. We chose exclusively ‘open’ systems for the security solution. By opting for open systems integrated with an overriding system, the customer has a platform from which all subsystems can easily be administered. For the 200 or so carers who will work in the premises, surveillance and management will be fast, clear and easily workable.

Assemblin has installed, commissioned and documented the security solution, and also provided training for the carers. As the official installer, Assemblin has issued installation certificates for fire alarms, burglar alarms and the access control system.
