Assemblin grows in cooling technology through acquisition of Örestadskyl
Assemblin is strengthening its know-how in cooling technology through the acquisition of Örestadskyl, with operations in southern Sweden.
Örestadskyl was established in 1995 and has a high degree of expertise in cooling, chilling and heat pump technology, as well as specialist expertise in energy reclamation. The company, which has offices in Malmö and Löddeköpinge, works primarily with construction, installation, service, coolant management and energy savings projects. Its customer base comprises primarily major property companies. Annual sales total approximately SEK 30 million, but Assemblin believes it has significant potential for growth.
“The climate transition is driving demand for qualified, environmentally efficient cooling solutions. Örestadskyl has a strong reputation in the market and is an excellent supplement to Assemblin’s current cooling operations. We also have had good experiences of the synergies between cooling services and ventilation services, which generate business for each other. Together, we can strengthen our joint offering in cooling, for example, with energy measures for cooling facilities where we take responsibility for the entire installation,” says Håkan Ekvall, President and Business Area Manager for Assemblin Ventilation.
The transaction takes effect immediately.
